THE STUDIO / LAGOS, NIGERIA

Founded in 2021, Makki Home Interior Designs provides full interior architecture and furnishing design services to its clients. Based in Lagos and working across Nigeria, the design studio is run by Amaka Amamchukwu alongside a team of talented individuals who embody a wealth of experience and creativity.

Our process follows the client brief, concept, detailed design and implementation stages. Each project has its own requirements, so the framework is tailored to your brief, timescale and budget.

We listen to your requirements and aspirations and develop an understanding of how you wish to use your property. Where possible, this begins with a site visit. Your taste, culture, lifestyle, expected timescale and budget guide the project.

Every brief begins with a concept unique to the client. This informs floor plans, mood boards, colour schemes, wall and floor finishes, initial joinery ideas and furniture. We work collaboratively, welcoming your feedback to respond to your design vision. Our proposal then outlines the scope, estimated costs and fees.

With an agreed schedule of works, we manage delivery from concept to completion. This includes monitoring construction to ensure design details are executed correctly, coordinating suppliers and fabricators against timelines and budgets, and overseeing installation and delivery.
