INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE
Run by the head of AI Idris Eniola, our interior architects work closely with Amaka’s creative direction to produce detailed drawings specification packages, and tender documentation. All interior architectural elements are handled in-house from space planning; lighting design; joinery, kitchen, and bathroom design.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Specialists in curating furniture, textiles, art, and antiques, our Interior Design team carefully designs a space inch by inch, combining style with function and creating thoughtful designs that will stand the test of time. Our knowledge of the finest artisans and artists allows us to collaborate and craft one-of-a-kind pieces, ensuring no two projects are the same.
STYLING
By adding the final touches and accents to a project, our Interior Design team can offer a full lifestyle and turnkey service. Dressing the project with carefully sourced and curated decorative accessories, floral design and household items.
DESIGN PROCESS
For an overview of our process, the stages below provide a guideline that is usually followed; client brief, concept, detailed design, and Implementation. As every project has its own unique set of requirements, this template is often tailored to every job.
CLIENT BRIEF
The most important stage of a project is where we listen to our client's requirements and aspirations and develop an understanding of how they wish to use their property. If possible, this usually takes place with an initial site visit. Ensuring we reflect our client's taste, culture, and lifestyle and that we understand key factors such as their expected timescale and budget is key to the success of a project.
CONCEPT
Every brief is approached with a concept that is unique to our clients. the creative stage directs the style of a project and inspires floor plans, mood boards, color schemes, wall/floor finishes, initial joinery ideas, and furniture. We encourage as much comment as possible from our clients at this stage, working closely and collaboratively to ensure we are responding to their design vision. Following the concept stage, we will provide the client with our proposal that outlines the scope with estimated costs and fees.
IMPLEMENTATION
With an agreed schedule of works in place we will orchestrate, manage, and deliver an interior from concept to completion. Whether that be monitoring the construction process on-site to ensure our design details are being executed correctly, coordinating with suppliers and fabricators to ensure timelines and budgets are being met, and finally, overseeing the installation and delivery to ensure we achieve the highest quality for our clients.
